This policy explains how BlockTank (the “Game”) handles information. The Game is an offline single-player game designed for a broad audience that includes children. The developer does not operate a player account system, gameplay server, analytics service, chat, or user-generated-content service.
Game progress, blocks, unlocked parts, stars, paint collection, and settings are stored locally on the player’s device. The developer does not receive this local gameplay data. The Game does not ask for a name, date of birth, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone access, or account login.
The Game uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). These Google services may automatically process information needed to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, maintain security, comply with law, and operate their services. Depending on the device and region, the categories may include:
| Category | Examples and purposes |
|---|---|
| Approximate location | Location inferred from an IP address for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and legal compliance; the Game does not request precise location. |
| App activity | Ad views, interactions, and basic app interaction signals used to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse. |
| App information and performance | Crash and diagnostic signals used to maintain SDK reliability and security. |
| Device or other identifiers | Device-, app-, or installation-level identifiers that may be used for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, and security, subject to platform and child-directed settings. |
This information is processed by Google under Google’s own terms and privacy practices. It may be transmitted to and processed in countries other than the player’s country. Please review:
Every ad request is tagged for child-directed treatment and uses a maximum ad
content rating of G. This requests contextual/non-personalized ad treatment from
Google and disables interest-based advertising and remarketing for these
requests. The iOS app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and
does not use IDFA. The current Android private-test build removes the legacy
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission. Other
non-advertising identifiers may still be processed by Google as described
above.
The private-test Android build uses Google’s official demo ad identifiers. Test ads still connect to Google services and do not remove the privacy disclosures in this policy.
Where required by law, Google UMP may display a consent or privacy message before ads are requested. A player can revisit available choices at any time in Settings > Ad Privacy Choices. If advertising cannot be requested because of consent, network availability, age-related treatment, or a technical error, the Game remains playable and ad-funded rewards simply remain unavailable.
The paint supply contains cosmetic-only rewards. Paints do not change combat performance, have no real-world cash value, and cannot be purchased or traded. Before opening a supply, the Game displays the exact odds for the next draw, per-item odds, duplicate conversion, and guarantee progress. Base rarity odds are Common 50%, Uncommon 28%, Rare 15%, Epic 6%, and Legendary 1%. Epic-or-better is guaranteed by draw 10 and Legendary by draw 30. Guarantee state can change the exact next-draw odds shown in the Game.
The developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through gameplay. Advertising is configured for child-directed treatment as described above. Children should ask a parent or guardian before sending a support email. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information may contact the developer to request deletion of that support communication.
If a player or guardian sends an email, the developer receives the sender’s email address and the information included in the message, such as device model, operating-system version, and screenshots. This information is used only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Do not include unnecessary personal information. You may request deletion of a support message by emailing the address below, subject to records that must be retained by law.
Local game data remains on the device until the player uses the in-game progress deletion option or deletes the app. Because the developer does not receive that data, the developer cannot restore or remotely delete it. For information processed by Google, applicable retention and privacy-rights processes are governed by Google’s practices linked above. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above.
The developer limits the Game’s permissions and does not operate a gameplay backend. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. If this policy or the Game’s data practices materially change, the updated policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
